Lacuna Legal Providers has been announced as the Innovator of the Year (Company) 2021 winner at the Lawyer’s Weekly Australian Law Awards.

This is the second year in a row that Lacuna has been recognised, having been a finalist in the same category in 2020.

“It’s great to be acknowledged for our commitment to supporting law practices of all shapes and sizes improve both their client offering as well as their work-life balance”, said co-founder Bronwyn Eynon-Lewis.

“By offering specialised support services, our clients can get on with what they do best (practising the law and living their lives) while we take care of the rest”, Bronwyn said.

Co-founder, Allison Warburton explains “Since Lacuna’s establishment in 2019, we have been committed to the #newlaw community and providing innovative models for sustaining rewarding legal careers.”

“Through our participation in the Centre for Legal Innovation’s (CLI) world first Innovation Incubator, we are working to evolve the way legal services are delivered and bring further benefits to our clients and members of the broader legal community”, Allison said.

Lawyers Weekly, in partnership with UNSW Law & Justice, presented the winners of the 21st Australian Law Awards on 2 December 2021.

The awards recognise the achievements and success of Australian legal professionals, teams, firms, and businesses.  Winners in 35 categories were chosen from over 920 nominations.

The category of Innovator of the Year (Company) recognises firms and legal departments that have successfully implemented innovative projects and/or strategic initiatives.
